Spelling a word correctly is very important. It gives a good impression and it avoids misunderstandings.
Good spellers are skillful at breaking words up into syllables.
Syllables are the individual sound that make up a word.
Examples: play-ful, hos-pi-tal, u-ni-ver-si-ty
Breaking a word into syllables makes it easier. We only deal with one small bit at a time.
For each word give a clap for each syllable. For example, give one clap for each syllable. This means there are two claps for this word: "clap-ping".

A preposition links nouns, pronouns and phrases to other words in a sentence. There are three common types of preposition. They are preposition of time, direction and position (place).

What is Pronoun?
a Pronoun can replace a noun or another pronoun. Generally we use pronoun to avoid repetition.

Story Time!
A Present For Udin
Everyday, Udin walks to school. His parents are poor. They cannot afford to buy him a bicycle.
"I do not mind walking to school, as long as I am good in studying," Udin always said to himself.
One afternoon, as he was walking home from school, Udin saw a young man walking into the jungle.
Udin was curious. "Why is the young man walking into the jungle?" Udin asked himself.
Udin tried to peep what the young man was doing. It so happened that the young man was taking drugs together with his friends.
"I must report this to the police," Udin said to himself.
Udin quickly went to the police station. He reported what
he saw to the police.
All the drug addicts were successfully caught by the
police.
On the next day, the Head Police came to Udin's school.
The Head Police gave him a bicycle as a present and a
certificate of bravery to Udin. Udin was very happy.The Head Police and the Headmaster praised Udin for his good deed.
